What makes the Cafe Racer series of drums so undeniably attractive is the stunningly flawless lacquer finishes that coat the tulip wood shell, inspired by classic vintage cars the finishes have that level of class and quality you expect from the creme de la creme of drums. From Oxblood RedĀ to British Racing Green, the quality is top spec all the way and theĀ Natal Sun logo drum badge and the Natal high mass chrome plated zinc sun lugs round off eachĀ shell pack finish perfectly.
The tulip wood shells produce a super distinctive soundĀ and areĀ a soft wood thatĀ has been used repeatedly on vintage drums, most notably by American companies during the 1950's and 1960's. This is mind it is no wonder Natal chose this diverse wood type for their Cafe Racer range of drums. The tulip shell produces dry and definitive sounds that can perform anywhere and we mean anywhere.
