With a semi-gloss mahogany veneer, this snare drum oozes allure and refinement. Mahogany is a versatile wood to choose as the veneer finish for the re-issue of this Phonic Series snare drum and let's face it it screams quality and that's why we love it! On the topic of quality, no stone is left unturned as the veneer finish is complimented with the iconic Sonor badge as well as chrome hardware and quality die cast hoops. With a 8.5mm/9-ply beech drum shell this snare drum is capable of being punchy and producing definitive tones across the board, not only that beech is recognised for it's sensitivity and focus. This snare drum has an abundance of features such as high quality die cast hoops, the Sonor Throw-Off Snare Action as well as iconic Phonic Series double lugs. The Sonor Throw-Off Snare Action is a heavy duty, high quality throw-off that performs time and time again whilst being extremely durable and long lasting under those lengthy drum sessions.
