This year Sonor is celebrating it's 140th anniversary and it was only right to celebrate in style by creating a whole new series and what better name to call it other than the 'Vintage series'?! The Sonor Vintage series brings back the iconic sound of the 1950's - early 1970's as well as that timeless appearance that many drummers love (including us here at Drum Shop!)

Just like the original Teardrop drums, the new Vintage Sonor drums are German engineered and build to the highest quality using hand selected premium German Beech shells complete with rounded bearing edges. Each finish is complete with vintage Sonor badge which was originally used between 1952 and 1961.
